you haven’t said what V is [ vertical leap ?] and what the units are in the formula given
assuming that V is the vertical leap in inches & T the hang time in secs,
20 = 48T^2
T^2 = 20/48 = 5/12
T = sqrt(5/12) = 0.6455 sec
