For me, its Mark DeRosa. It meant so much to the Cubs, he was such a role model. Not only could he play any position, he could play it good. And he just scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth. For the Cardinals. You will always be a Cub in my heart, Mark.

Nomar Garciaparra for the Boston Red Sox. He was hugely loved and respected here in Boston and was my favorite player when I was younger. The day I found out he was traded was one of the worst days I can remember.
Alfonso Soriano. When I was younger, he was my absolute favorite, but now he’s not really my favorite (as of now it’s Jeter). He will always be seen in the pinstripes in my head.

Don Mattingly. Had he stayed 1 more year, he would have had his ring. Not to mention he waited 13 years for his first playoff game.
Tex because he did all the right things. Came out every day and worked hard. Great hitter and great first baseman. The Rangers could be headed to the playoffs right now if they still had him.

My team is the Dodgers an i will always miss Paul Lo Duca. He was my idol when i was younger an he shares the name of my uncle who died of cancer at 18.
