Not a bad glove at all, there are a lot better out there but this is probably one of the cheapest. Works well for small games between friends or just catch. The dual tone color is a bit funky for me. Seemed to have a longer break in time.
What I hate about this glove is that theres a velcro strap to secure it to your hand. I have to leave it off as it doesn't fit an average hand but a kids hand only. this makes it a bit insecure.
Also the lining makes this glove a sweater, yea it'll get funky. |
Very satisfied

| I was looking for a glove to have around to throw the ball with my kids. This one is simply too stiff. Not a bad price and the glove is okay but not ideal. |
Poorly padded, definitely better options out there

As the previous reviewer stated, if you're just looking for a glove to play a little catch with the kids, then this glove should be just fine. However, for anything more than that, I'd definitely spend an extra $10 to $15 dollars and go with a Rawlings Preferred Series glove instead. This glove's palm area is VERY poorly padded, and playing catch with it can quickly turn into a painful exercise. While the poor padding may be ok if playing with kids incapable of throwing much heat, if you're playing catch with anyone over the age of 10, you definitely want to spend more and get a better glove. I bought this glove for my girlfriend so we could play a little catch together; I ended up giving her my glove and using this one because if was too painful for her. Using it for ten minutes convinced me that this glove is definitely not a keeper.
To sum up, unless buying the glove to play with young children, spend a little more and get something of a bit higher quality. |
Great Value

| This glove is well built, comfortable, and for the price, I really don't think it can be beat. For playing in the yard with your kids -- this is your glove. Probably not the best choice for the adult weekend warrior playing ball with some seriousness. |
