Product Description |
Specifically designed to help younger baseball players catch the ball the right way--in the pocket--the Mizuno Prospect GPP1001 youth glove boasts a series of innovations unmatched in the industry. The 10-inch glove features Mizuno's patented Power Close 2 technology, with an exclusive outer thumb slot to improve the glove's "closeability." The V-Flex Notch design in the heel, meanwhile, also helps initiate easy closure. Combine the features and you have a glove with a huge sweet spot, making it ideal for those who are still learning the fundamentals of the game. Other details include Mizuno's SureFit foam cushioning, which adds cushioning to the back of the fingers for a more custom fit, and a ParaShock palm pad that reduces shock to minimize the "sting" of hard throws. The glove, which offers a utility pattern and a diagonal tartan web, carries a one-year warranty.

It is the perfect size for him. High quality leather, the pocket is easily broken in and the glove has a nice baseball glove type smell to it. So far, it is holding up really well.

Very nice glove. I seen the same one at Walmart for more than I paid here. Very happy with it.

I purchased this glove for my six year old grandson who is now in his second year of coach pitch baseball. This is a great little soft leather glove that feels pretty much already broken in. I would definitely recommend this glove for any little leaguer age eight and under. A very nice quality glove for the price.
Great for 4-5 yrs old

I bought this glove for a 4.5 year old and he was able to squeeze the glove enough to catch balls right out of the box. The construction seems to be fine and we have been very happy with the glove.
Makes catching a breeze for young players!
