This product arrived in two packages, one containing a bucket and the other five one-dozen boxes of baseballs. And yes, all five dozen balls fit in the bucket. There's even room for a few more.

Like many, I've had the experience of using inferior balls. You hit them with a Ruthian clout, and they travel dozens of feet. Not these balls. These fly--perhaps not as far as legitimate Major League balls, but farther than many comparably priced practice balls.

When I first tried these balls out, I was hitting fungo. First, I used seven balls I had purchased at a local dollar store. These balls are not, by any stretch, good. I hit them hard, and the infielders got lots of practice while the outfielders learned to charge in and scoop up line drives. Then I switched to the MacGregor balls. The first one flew over the outfielder's head. Same swing, same contact but different balls, very different results. I highly recommend these balls for practice.

(In case it matters, the balls are clearly labeled as practice balls. Also, I had this product in my Amazon.com shopping cart for several days and saw during that time that the price fluctuated quite a bit. You might want to make sure you're getting a good price.)

The quality of the balls is excellent; no imitation leather here. I was lucky enough to snag these while they were on sale, which made it a particularly good deal.
Great Deal!!!!!

Reviewer: Romonte D. Dishman,
This product is great and the price is very reasonable. The only problem that I have is keeping the balls from leaving with my players. The feel is good, the quality is good, and the it only took three days to deliver. This is the second time that I have purchased this product and I plan on doing it again. BEST DEAL ON THE MARKET.
Worth the money - not much more

Many of them were poorly stitched and had flaws but for the $1.43 per ball
it all came out to, its still a better deal then anything I could pick up locally.

Note:
The balls have the word PRACTICE written on them in green.
