I mean are they really doing something ? I always see commercials on how they are helping little children out learn about “Teamwork”, but what about the inner city young people who would like to play baseball, but don’t have the resources to do so ? We send scouters across the world to latin countries but we forget about our own people. Don’t get me wrong, latin players are the more talented in my opinion but how about the MLB just do a better job here and help those out who are unfortunate ?

You can choose either your first baseball game seeing ANY team or your first baseball game seeing YOUR team.
I know at my first (ever) baseball game at Fenway Park, Tim Wakefield really seemed to stand out to me. While Jason Varitek is my favorite player, I’ve always been kind of “attached” to Tim Wakefield.
Anyone else have a similar story? Different story? I’d like to hear what other baseball fans have to say.

It’s bad enough that they don’t want a Salary Cap but now they want to sweep the whole Steroid controversy under the rug as if it didn’t happen. If it wasn’t for them this whole steroid issue would’ve been over a long time ago. They are the biggest reason why MLB is in the shape it’s in today.

If so, when will they be added? For instance, I had Vazquez today and am hoping that his stats will be recorded for this week’s matchup, as opposed to when the game finishes — which probably won’t happen for months.
Any ideas? I know this has happened before in fantasy.

I was watching a baseball game on television. (I won’t say what team) And, the manager came out of the dugout to talk to one of the umpires about a call that he didn’t agree with and the umpire threw him out of the game. What happens when he is thrown out of the game? Where does he go and does he get to come back later in the game?

Receive a World Series ring if that team were to win the World Series? And if so, does it only apply to players that are within the organization. (i.e. Players traded away, DFA’d, released)
