It was Nomo-san, on 28-April-1998 off Milwaukee's Jose Mercedes. A solo shot, which helped him to the 6-3 victory.
Hi there,
I'm wondering if anybody has any info on who this hitter might be or the team he plays for or even the name of the Japanese show he is on?

Thanks in advance,

Most Japanese ballplayers, e.g., Ichiro, had significant careers in Japan before signing with a Major League team. Should both Japanese and American careers be considered when these guys are put on the Hall of Fame ballot?
All time in the MLB who is it?
Why do you think so?
According to me, Sadaharu Oh is the best.
Ichiro is the second.
Just want to know if anyone knows of the next great player in Japan who might try to make it in the US?
