If it isn't too bad, you may be able to play.Be aware that more physical exercise sometimes makes it worse...as you get older and IF you get fat..it will hurt more, too.So, it just depends on your level of pain tolerance.Some days my knees are so bad , they can be heard popping every time I move...other days , they seem fine.

I know at my first (ever) baseball game at Fenway Park, Tim Wakefield really seemed to stand out to me. While Jason Varitek is my favorite player, I've always been kind of "attached" to Tim Wakefield.
Anyone else have a similar story? Different story? I'd like to hear what other baseball fans have to say.

I don't have a great answer for this, but my favorite is David Weathers (journeyman middle reliever, currently with the Reds) because he and I went to high school together. I'm originally from a town of 1,800 people, so needless to say, we haven't produced a lot of people who have World Series rings. He's nice, modest, and still lives in that same town we grew up in. He just happens to have the biggest house now.

Powell was a power hitting first baseman for the Orioles in the late 60's thru the mid-70's. Growing up, I was an avid Oriole fan....and yet, I never heard any explanation.

For me, its Mark DeRosa. It meant so much to the Cubs, he was such a role model. Not only could he play any position, he could play it good. And he just scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth. For the Cardinals. You will always be a Cub in my heart, Mark.
