How would other players treat an openly gay player? from his team mates to the opposing team to the media and fans... Would his skill level have anything to do with how he gets treated?? any thoughts and answers are welcome...

I would have to say that Ramirez is much more likely--and more qualified--to be on the cover of "I only play if I feel like it, regardless of how much I'm paid" magazine. Another magazine he could be on is any medical one as he has an amazing physical condition where his knee hurts whenever a hard-throwing right-hander is pitching. He's a dog and the Dodger fans will find that out if they fall out of the race in the NL West. People like him should never be rewarded or admired. It's players like him that give athletes a bad name.

Edwin Encarnacion of Cincinnati a fielding percentage of .877 for a third baseman. He has 8 errors already this year in 65 chances. That is terrible for an infielder.
