John Jordan “Buck” O’Neil; ***** League baseball great @ 94 y/o.
He wore a Kansas City Monarchs Jersey, his old team, but was signed by the Kansas City T-bones for a one day contract during the minor league all star game on July 18, 2006.
Buck walked twice.
Also of note, Mr. Oneal was the first black coach in MLB history.
